   T
he WGA, an organization of writers created for writers, got its start in 1985 and has
had tremendous success ever since.  Created to provide support to writers, both published
and unpublished, the WGA has continuously expanded its goals, as well as its reach, beyond
its members into the surrounding community and now to you!  The WGA is thrilled to offer
you the exciting opportunity to spend two days with us celebrating words, ideas, and creativity
in addition to learning valuable information about the craft of writing as well as the business of publishing.  Even better, we will also give you the chance to get advice from some of the best agents, editors, and published authors in the industry!
You'll feel right at home among the beginners and pros in an atmosphere of southern
hospitality. We'll have 16 workshops for you to choose from, 2 panels with published authors
and time slots for you to pitch your work to editors and agents.  Don't pass up this incredible opportunity to learn and grow in your craft with the best in the industry guiding you on to success!
